your live entertainment guide for macarthur

The music heads @ Live n Lounging present ARGYLE SUN-SETS @ FRED’S The Last Sunday of each month.

Live n Lounging has been bringing the best  up & coming Australian & international  musicians  to Macarthur for 5 years eg Matt Corby, Wes Carr , All Our Exes Live in Texas , Bec Sandridge to name a  few.

After playing Mt Eliza music festival recently alongside artists such as Josh Cashman & Reuben Stone and touring the east coast and Tasmania, we welcome Ackers home, playing his first headline Macarthur show.
Ackers is a solo acoustic, contemporary folk singer/songwriter based in Sydney who produces a purely Australian, earthy sound using the fusion of several percussive and melodic elements using the body of the guitar, stomp boxes, didgeridoo, loop pedals and complemented by insightful, honest lyrics. The result provides the listener with a connection and a primal energy that will resonate long after he has left the stage. Galvanized by the likes of John Butler, Bon Iver and Ben Howard, this musician has drawn on these artists for inspiration for his own unique style.

Ali Morgan Music was Rediscovered in early 2015 after experiencing the beauty of the South Coast of NSW. This inspired her music career and enabled her to grow as an aspiring artist, creating a combination of Soulful Acoustic Indie, folky and alternative Sounds, with influences such as Missy Higgins, Adele, Florence & The Machine & Norah Jones. Her unique tones and originality will linger and resonate with your ears.

Nicole Issa is a Sydney based Singer/Songwriter. After busking for a while she was inspired to dive into the Original music scene. Performing in venues around inner west Sydney, with her loop pedal, guitar and soulful voice her songs will definitely strike your heart strings.

While you’re there, grab a bite to eat from Fred’s delicious tapas menu and Fred’s special $5 on all house beers & wine throughout the session.
